Today, Mum took me to Rookwood Cemetery to visit Grandpa’s grave. I was about two years too late to meet him in person, but Mum has told me all about him.
I have to admit, I did get a bit nervous when Mum laid me out on the ground next to Grandpa’s grave – I was half expecting her to pull a pick and shovel out of the boot. But all’s well that ends well on my first visit to Grandpa as well as a cemetery.
