Sitting Up on ANZAC Day

April 25, 2007

ANZAC Day is probably Australia’s most important national occasion. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.

Now, since I’m a bit too young, and it’s a bit too early (the Dawn Service that is), I thought I’d pay my respects to the soldiers of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps by sitting up in my stroller for the first time instead of lying down.
