Last night I was taking sides. The sides of my cot that is – and I took them off (Mum helped). This morning I woke up for the first time in my own bed. No more baby cot for me!

It’s been quite a while since we last had lunch with the Dabeks – 18 months in fact! It’s great to look back and see how much both Christopher and I have grown and changed. Speaking of changing – I don’t know what was in the home-made pizza we had, but it made Chris and I a little crazy!

Today, Mum, Grandma, Aunty Sam and I went to Picton Show.

Mum was really excited about taking me to the Picton Show because she had always gone there as a child and wanted me to experience how great it is too. It wasn’t long before Mum realised her memory had failed her and that the Picton Show was a little less “Disney World” and a little more “Piss-Weak World”

But I have to say, I did enjoy the novelty breasts.

Today was Aunty Nat’s birthday and Aunty Nat, Mum, Dad and I were heading out for a special dinner at Barzura at Coogee Beach. This is a special occasion so I wore my fancy Hawaiian shirt that always impresses.

But I wasn’t the only one out to impress. Mum had made an extra special birthday cake for Aunty Nat in the shape of a Chanel handbag. Dad said it’s “like a bought one!” I agree!!

Today was Fathers Day so I thought I’d start it with a big kiss for Dad.

I’d spent yesterday making a special Fathers Day pasta picture present for Dad.

Dad loved it. And even I was impressed by the way it turned out.

But that’s not all I had in store for Dad this morning. I’d also made a card for Dad.

And got him the first and second series of The Mighty Boosh (it’s his favourite at the moment – although I don’t give him much time to watch it).

After breakfast, Mum, Dad and I headed down to Maroubra Beach for a play in the playground.

It might be Fathers Day today, but it’s Aidan’s Day every day
