I’m over the cot. I’m so over it I’m going Japanese power-nap style in my chest of drawers.
So I’ve put the cot in the shed (ready for my new brother or sister), I’ve taken delivery of my first real bed (an Ikea Kritter bed), and my first night was a good one.
Many more to come (or so Mum and Dad hope!).

NYE this year was at Godmother Linda’s house. It’s really hot where Linda lives – way too hot to go outside, so everybody stays inside in their underwear and cranks the A/C to sub-arctic. Now I’m not one to make a fuss, so when in Rome…
It was only Christmas Eve, and Grandma and I were already exhausted.
After Grandma and I woke from our nap, Grandma decided she couldn’t wait until tomorrow to give me my first Christmas present – a toy electric Christmas train that goes around a track and makes a real train sound.
This morning I woke to my big present – a big kitchen!
We’re renovating at the moment, so my kitchen is actually better equipped than Mum’s 
This evening, Mum, Dad and I headed over to Max’s house for a BBQ. Dad and Max’s Dad, David, have been friends since they were seven years old, and now Max and I are carrying on the tradition.
