Our House, In the Middle of Our Street

January 22, 2008

Since moving into our house, Mum, Dad and I have been hard at work with a do-it-yourself renovation. We started by pulling down some wallpaper in the main bedroom and hallway. After that I usually get to work on preparation with a small sanding block.

After the wallpaper, we started pulling up some carpet. I like to check for stray tacks by running on the floorboards. If I feel a sharp pain shoot through my sole and up my leg, I scream and Mum comes and pulls the tack out (either from my foot or the floor - it’s all good).

Now I know we had an old stove in that spot on the right when we moved in last week. I wonder where it could have got to?

Where's the Stove?

Ah, there it is!

There's the Stove!
