Murray Head was right “One night in Bangkok makes a hard man (or baby) humble. Not much between despair and ecstasy.”
It had been a long, hard journey but we were finally here. After filling up at the buffet it was time to hit the City. Although I wasn’t feeling one-hundred percent I was keen to check out Bangkok. Mum and Dad have done nothing but rave about how good it is and how much I was going to love it. Bangkok to me meant shopping, eating and swimming. Here I am watching the traffic during my first outing to the shops – see how tired I look.
After returning to the hotel it was time for what quickly became my favourite time of the day – cocktails by the pool and I finally got to show daddy that my swimming lessons were paying off.
We finished an exhausting day with free drinks and canapés in the club lounge and were all in bed by seven o’clock.
