Today I went to Sydney Children’s Hospital for an appointment to be immunised. It sounded like fun and started off ok. I was weighed – turns out I’m now 4660g (that’s 380g up from my previous bare weight two weeks ago) – but I wasn’t there for a weigh-in. Strange.
Then, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted some sharp, pointy, painful looking things in a dish shaped like a kidney
I started getting worried, but Dad seemed pretty calm about the whole thing, so I unwittingly went along with the show. Then Dad decides to pin my right leg down on the bed, and before I knew it, there was a dirty great needle being stuck into my thigh.
OK. That HURT!!!
But just when I thought it was safe to go back in the water…
BANG! Those sly so-and-sos have pinned me down again and are going at my left leg – the only good leg I have left
You BASTARDS!!!
I decided the only thing for it was to scream blue murder for a couple of minutes before I settled down for a night cap.
All good
