Dinner With the Watlings

Tonight, Mum, Dad and I went to the Watlings’ for a BBQ dinner. I got to meet a whole bunch of new people - Ingrid, Greg, Rory, Keeley and Leanne - and a whole bunch of new people got to go ga-ga over me! I even got a couple of Christmas presents.

On the menu was BBQ steak, sausages (pork and beef) and corn cobs, baby potatoes with sour cream and fresh chives, roast capsicum and eggplant, a salad of rocket and parmesan and chocolate cake for dessert (I had milk).

I was a bit tired so, after my dinner, I went to sleep and left the adults to do adult things (drink wine, beer and Pimms that is).

I’m thinking of hosting the next BBQ at our place.
