Today was my first Christmas ever. Mum and Dad had to wake me up at 7:00 AM for breakfast. Mum and Dad had toasted banana bread and coffee – I had milk (again). Aunty Natalie, Aunty Sam and Grandma were coming over for Christmas lunch so, after breakfast I had a quick power-nap before we started getting ready for the day.
At about 10:30 AM, Dad and I got dressed (I put on my special red and white striped Bonds Xmas themed jumpsuit) and set off on a walk to Maroubra Junction for some fresh bread sticks while Mum greeted Sam and Grandma (who were arriving just as we were leaving for our walk).
When Dad and I got back from the shops, I was the star attraction. After being passed around for kisses and cuddles, I decided to go down for another power-nap so I could be in good spirits for lunch. When I woke at about 12:30 PM, Aunty Natalie had arrived, and we were just about ready to eat. The lunch menus went like this:
- Spicy Roast Pumpkin, Feta and Olive Salad
- Warm Mediterranean Lamb Salad
- Olive and Herb Fish Parcels
- A delicious dessert by Aunty Sam
I had milk (again).
After lunch, it was present time. For me, present time went like this:
- Baby GymTastics Activity Tunnel
- Baby GymTastics Play Wall
- Activity Table
- Puma Kart II Sneakers (first shoes ever!)
- Six pairs of baby socks
- Peter Alexander Pyjamas
- A woollen cat called Sacha (I prefer Goo-Goo)
- But wait, there’s more…
- Sunshade Baby Swim Seat
- Speedos (for swimming lessons)
- Speedo Aquanappy Trunks (for going in the pool at swimming lessons)
- Pants and Jacket for the snow
- Christmas decorations with my name and the year on them
- Yoshi Jones bib
- Assorted bath toys
- and much more…
All in all, I think I did pretty well at my first Christmas ever!
Merry Christmas everyone
